February 2008	Gift Card Scheme - Now, you can donate by buying a gift card for yourself or as a present for those who have everything! We have a selection of different cards to choose from, with donations from £5 upwards. Please contact the charity for more details.
February 2008	Staff Change at Kantolomba - Grace Malambo, our coordinator/social worker for 5 years, has now left to start a new life in the USA with her family. We send our thanks to Grace for all the good work she did at Kantolomba. A new social worker, Prudence Mumba, has now been appointed
July 2008	School Link - A Devon primary school has now linked with St Catherines School in Misisi and the children have been exchanging letters and news. They are raising funds to buy blankets for the children. We are now looking for a primary school to link with Kantolomba.
July 2008	Umwana Kasembe water supply - A permanent water supply is still a problem at Mwana Kasembe. The Rotary Clubs of Ruthin in N. Wales and Lusaka agreed to fund a borehole which will provide clean water for all the children. Funding has now been recieved and drilling has commenced.
July 2008	Visit to Zambia - April 2008 - Wendy, Alan, Liz, Joanna & Nathan spent time in all the projects and were impressed by the enthusiasm and commitment shown by staff and volunteers despite the terrible effects of flooding and escalating food prices.
July 2008	Great West Run - Liz, Dave and Joanna Baldwin, Nathan Rowe and Anne Roberts all completed the Great West Run in Exeter in May. Congratulations and well done! A total of £2750 was raised.
